Do you need to match your pillows with your area rug.?I have a gold sectional and an area rug with cream and light blue with a floral pattern. I have purchased about 20 pillows and nothing looks right. I bring them home and need to return them because I am trying to match the color in the rug with the cream and blue and this leaves the gold color out. I tried gold pillows and they just blend into the sectional.

I didn’t know if I would be able to watch this. I have this weird thing that, to put it lightly, I’m not crazy about – after a design is finished the designer goes on to chop the pillow. Thank you for letting them sit natural. I really like the "mismatched" perfectly worked combos.

Im lost and i need , help ! Ok you gave me a good start. My couch is big in a small living room.So i will start with 22 in pillows. But in your room there was only 2 colors. I have lots of picture styles that i love to keep. My couch is that cream color so i should start with a dark pillow. Ok , got that. But what color ? Maybe the color of my chairs ? They are a navy . So should i start there ? Then what a velvet for Traditional ? I need some help. Ive looked for around 10 days now.

Maybe I’m not googling the right stuff but I can’t find anything about the best fill for a throw pillow. I’m not really a fan of poly fill I find it’s lovely on shape for a little while but if the pillows get used then the become flat. @studiomcgee can you point me in the direction of finding info on what’s the best pillow fill?
