I adore open shelving. Saves so much time opening cupboards. Having said that ,i keep my plates in draws and use shelving for decorative purposes and for my everyday glasses that i turn upside down. I’m a creative person and change things around regularly, so dust doesn’t build up.
Have fun having to wash your dishes before you use them every time because they are full of dead bugs and dust.
That looks like trash. Open shelving in a kitchen is an idiotic idea. I can imagine it severely reduces your property value too.
